When January to March.
Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly and cover lightly with compost. Keep at approx. 13°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
Care When large enough transplant 10cm apart in further trays of compost. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Then transplant 30cm apart in flowering position.
Flowers June to August, the same year.
For outdoor sowing
When April to May.

How Sow thinly in moist compost. Keep trays in a cold frame or cool greenhouse.
Care When seedlings are large enough transplant 10cm apart in further trays and stand outside. Transplant 30cm apart in flowering position from September to October.
Flowers May to August, the following year. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering. Feed plants in autumn, especially the first year.
