The Barr Family Group of businesses was originally established in 1961. Barr’s of Heathhall is now one of five Centres owned and managed by the Barr Family. Our third generation independent family business has been serving the local communities of Dumfries and Galloway and latterly Cumbria for over 60 years.

Barr’s of Heathhall is situated on Catherinefield Road in Dumfries and has an extensive show site upon which are displayed a wide range of garden leisure buildings for you to view and walk around. The show site includes sheds, greenhouses, summerhouses, potting sheds, dog kennels, wooden benches, arbours and arches. 

Our hugely knowledgeable staff will answer all of your questions, offer help and guide you in making the best choice. A full installation service is available on our leisure buildings or they can be delivered flat packed. 

A full range of wooden garden fencing is available on site and to order for home delivery including posts and accessories. Paving, aggregates, gravels, edging stones and general building supplies continue to be a supplied from Barr’s of Heathhall. Outdoor ceramic pots and ornaments are also on display that will enhance any garden.

At Barr’s of Heathhall we are committed to offering our customers a wide variety of quality products ethically and responsibly sourced and manufactured for you to enjoy for many years in your gardens.

Inside Barr’s of Heathhall we have beautiful ranges of cane conservatory furniture on display. The main shop has many hardware and household items alongside a variety of gardening products.

Glass for your greenhouse can be ordered and cut to size. We stock greenhouse staging, accessories and spare parts.
