Fast maturing, white fleshed, traditional variety, can easily produce tasty crops all summer if repeat sown. An easy to grow, versatile vegetable. For outdoor sowing
When March to July.
Where In a prepared seed bed.
How Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart. Cover with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care When large enough thin to 10cm apart. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvest June to October, take alternate plants allowing others to develop fully. Harvest up to the diameter of a tennis ball. For baby turnips sow little and often,
harvest at golf ball size
