Greenhouse favourite, resistant to leaf mould virus and greenback. Early, with medium fruits on large trusses. Indeterminate type, requires support. For indoor sowing
When January to March.
Where In pots or trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or a propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 7-14 days.
Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. When approx. 10cm tall, transplant to individual pots. Grow on at approx. 15°C. Transplant to growing position in grow bags or large pots in the greenhouse in April to May. Pinch out side shoots regularly and growing tips once 6-7 trusses have set. Provide support. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvest June to October. Apply a liquid feed every 2-3 weeks when first trusses have set
