Easy to grow, rounded clumps of fine leaves covered in masses of beautiful, golden flowers all summer. Wonderful in beds, borders and containers. For indoor sowing
When February to April.
Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-21 days.
Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 20cm apart in flowering position.
Flowers June to October.
For outdoor sowing
When April to May.
Where In a prepared seed bed in flowering position.
How Sow thinly in rows 20cm apart. Cover lightly with fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist.
Care When large enough thin to 20cm apart.
Flowers June to October. Grow some in pots for instant gap fillers in the border.
