Outstanding maincrop variety producing exceptional yields of large pods held in pairs, with each containing up to 10 succulent and great tasting peas. Plants show good resistance to Fusarium wilt and regularly out performs popular varieties. For outdoor sowing
When March to June.
Where In a prepared seed bed, in flat drills 15cm wide and 5cm deep. Protect early sowings with cloches.
How Sow in a zig-zag pattern along the drill allowing 5cm between seeds. Space drills 60cm apart. Cover with 5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 10-18 days.
Care Protect younger plants from birds with twigs or netting. Provide support with pea sticks or netting for easier picking, especially in windy locations. Keep moist and weed free at all times.
Harvest Late May to October. Pick regularly for the best yields. Make 2 or 3 sowings for a longer harvest.
