A highly colourful, international mix of mild Oriental and European leaves with different shapes, flavours and textures. Best picked as baby leaves. For outdoor sowing
When March to August.
Where In large pots, containers, grow bags or a seed bed.
How Sow thinly in a pot or tub approx. 30cm diameter and 25cm deep, or in rows 25cm apart. Cover lightly with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 7-14 days. For continuous crops sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care For baby leaves, thin to 5cm apart if plants are crowded. Keep moist and weed free at all times.
Harvest April to October. Pick individual baby leaves as required, a few from each plant, they will regrow for up to 4 cuts. Pick larger leaves or whole heads once mature. Use days to harvest as a guide only as this will vary with sowing times and growing conditions.
