A wonderfully fragrant little annual lupin that should be on every gardener’s seed list. Easy for borders and containers. Highly attractive to bees. For outdoor sowing
When March to May, (an early and late sowing will extend the flowering period).
Where In a prepared seed bed in flowering position.
How Sow thinly in rows 25cm apart. Cover lightly with 1.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days.
Care When large enough thin to 15cm apart. Keep moist and weed free.
Flowers June to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering. Lupins are very beneficial in improving the quality of the soil.
