A beautiful mixture of colourful dwarf cornflowers. This compact form of a 'cottage garden' classic is so easy to grow in borders or even in pots and tubs. For outdoor sowing
When March to May and August to October.
Where In a prepared seed bed in flowering position.
How Sow thinly in rows 30cm apart. Cover lightly with 0.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. Make 2-3 sowings for a longer flowering season.
Care When large enough thin to 15cm apart. Keep moist and weed free.
Flowers June to September. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering. Late sowings flower the following year. Protect late sowings with cloches in cold weather.
