A favourite mixture of lightly scented annuals. So easy to grow and traditionally used for 'cottage garden's’, mixed patio containers and border edging. For outdoor sowing
When March to May or August to October.
Where In a prepared seed bed in flowering position.
How Sow thinly in rows 20cm apart. Cover with 0.5cm of fine soil. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 14-28 days. Make 2-3 sowings for a longer flowering season.
Care When large enough thin to 15cm apart. Keep moist and weed free. Protect late sowings with cloches in cold weather. Trim back after flowering to encourage a second flush.
Flowers June to September. Late sowings will flower the following year. Trim back after flowering to encourage a second flush.
