Our strong family values put our customers at the heart of everything we do. The Barr Family Group of businesses was originally established in 1961.

Heathhall Garden Centre in Dumfries is now one of five Centres owned and managed by the Barr Family. Our third generation independent family business has been serving the local communities of Dumfries and Galloway and latterly Cumbria for over 60 years. Located on the A701 on the outskirts of Dumfries, Heathhall Garden Centre is often affectionately described by customers as “a real find”. Heathhall Garden Centre remains very much a gardener’s Garden Centre as we continue to provide the core and traditional gardening products whilst also embracing new and modern ideas.

At Heathhall Garden Centre we are committed to offering our customers a wide variety of quality plants and gardening products sourced from the best nurseries and suppliers in Scotland, the UK and Europe.

Our extensive outdoor areas display plants, furniture, barbecues, fencing, arches, arbours, sheds, summerhouses, pots, garden ornaments, fountains all set in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Our hugely experienced team have a wealth of knowledge and include trained horticultural staff who are always available to answer your gardening questions and to offer help and advice.
