The Barr Family Group of businesses was originally established in 1961. Dalbeattie Garden Centre is now one of five Centres owned and managed by the Barr Family. Our third generation independent family business has been serving the local communities of Dumfries and Galloway and latterly Cumbria for over 60 years.

Dalbeattie Garden Centre is situated on the High Street close to the Kippford, Rockcliffe coastal road and caravan holiday parks. Small and compact it has everything for the traditional gardener or for those wanting to browse at their leisure.

At Dalbeattie Garden Centre we are committed to offering our customers a wide variety of quality indoor and outdoor plants and gardening products sourced from the best nurseries and suppliers in Scotland, the UK and Europe. 

Our knowledgeable and experienced team are always available to answer your gardening questions and to offer help, suggestions and advice.

An extensive range of garden sheds, summerhouses, greenhouses, arches, arbours, benches, fencing and paving to enhance any garden are on display.

Burning fuels, including bulk logs, coal, peat nuggets, kindling and gas are available for collection or delivery all year round.

In our Toy Shop we are local stockists for top brands Bruder, Siku, Britains, Keel, and our gift shop has a wide range of gifts to suit every occasion and budget.
